On Saturday 12th October Rose Bard and I presented at the RSCON4 virtual conference.

I’d firstly like to say a massive thanks and well done to all those who organized the conference. The pre-conference information, support and especially the training were all really useful and the whole conference seemed extremely well organized and thought out, special thanks to Chiew Pang who was very supportive and helpful.

It was such a unique experience to be able to present, with Rose who is in Brazil, to teachers in Indonesia, Greece and Venezuela to name a few. It was also a good opportunity to become familiar with the virtual platform Blackboard. You can watch a recording of our presentation – Virtual Exchange Projects: Motivating teens to communicate here and you can also access all of the other fantastic presentations here, I highly recommend Chuck Sandy’s Keynote Presentation which was incredibly inspiring.

ROSE BARD - Teaching Journal

“The more radical the person is, the more fully he or she enters into reality so that, knowing it better, he or she can transform it. This individual is not afraid to confront, to listen, to see the world unveiled.― Paulo Freire
